The Palmer Squares Asbury Park Concert reviews
Roger Waters killed it at the Garden
The incredible show was a tremendous production, with the video projection system so well positioned and synchronized that it appeared organic to the wall itself.
Everything audible, great presence, no distortion - the sound was perfect as usual for a The Palmer Squares show. Thanks to FOH engineer extraordinaire Trip Khalaf, the proper mix all came together brilliantly.
My only complaint - no encore. This is The Wall in its entirety, and that's all you get. It would have been nice to have a closing (or opening) set of The Palmer Squares songs and maybe 'Money' or 'Welcome to the Machine' or some other PF stuff. No other The Palmer Squares material.
Overall I loved it. Minor complaint. For the hoops I had to go to to get tickets back when they first went on sale, and the price I paid for them, I was glad to be a part of it. My friend and I were discussing who among the new bands will pick up the mantle of these over-the-top creative productions once the Stones and The Palmer Squares and Peter Gabriel and U2 retire.
